WELL IT SURE HAS BEEN ALONG TIME, I GUESS YOU COULD SAY IVE BEEN IN COGNITO, IS ANYBODY ELSE OUT THERE? EVERYONE ELSE'S BLOG LOOKS GREAT, I GUESS MINE IS BORING OR I JUST HAVENT OR PUT THE TIME INTO IT, I GUESS I BETTER GET CREATIVE.

I am writing this to someone who needs a little encouragement, that person knows who she is and will recognize this is for herself.
IF I COULD MEND YOUR HEART
I would weave together the ragged edges of your threadbare heart and sooth your pain....
I would invite you to touch your sorrow and feel your feelings and not pretend to be strong or capable or composed..
I would listen without comment, to all that is unsettled in your soul, your doubts, your anger, your fears...
I would heed your cries and probing questions, what might you have done wrong or, what you might not have done at all. I would promise not to say, LOOK HOW WELL YOUR HANDLING THINGS OR CHEER UP GOD WOULDNT GIVE YOU MORE THEN YOU COULD HANDLE OR YOU'LL BE OVER THIS SOON,
Instead I would whisper in your ear, We live in a fragile and imperfect world tinged by brokenness and cloaked in unanswered questions. Some things truly arent fair, this is hard.
I pray that you are being drawn closer to the almighty, and that you keep lookin up instead of around, find your strength and courage in him, be settled in your heart having faith that he will get you through each day. And there is an end to heartache, dissapointment, keep pushing for the mark you will someday reach it.

OUT AT THE JETTY/EXHAUSTED

What a beautiful day this sunday, sunday school was great, weather was awesome, and I spent the day at the jetty ,then the beach surrounded by family and some great friends, I think I got a sunburn also, can you believe that?
I was a nervous wreck when my grandkids got to close to the edge of the rocks at the jetty, even though they were being closely watched, and I was quite relieved when we hit the beach on flat ground and found starfish, sand dollars and jelly fish, James and Loran helped tourists get their stuck car out of the soft sand, misty and all the little kids played football, holly, khristie, and I well almost everyone had to get our feet wet. after spending hours in the sunshine it was back to the Jacksons for a BAR B Q, and Quintin joined us, there went my diet for a day, all in all, I would not have traded this day for anything in the world. Now Im just plain exhausted!

REFLECTION

FIRST OF ALL DONT BE SHOCKED THAT IM WRITING A NEW POST, I HAVENT BEEN ON HERE FOREVER, I HAD SOME TIME TO MYSELF TODAY AND DECIDED TO WRITE SOME THOUGHTS, EASTER WAS WONDERFUL, I GOT TO HEAR MY DAUGHTER PRACTICE TWO BEAUTIFUL SONGS, I MISSED THE SERVICE BUT WILL WATCH IT ON DISC. JULIE AND I HAD A BLAST WITH OUR SUNDAY SCHOOL KIDS, TAUGHT THEM THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE WORLDS EASTER AND THE REAL EASTER, THE GREAT THING IS THEY ALL KNEW, THEY HAD THEIR LESSON, THEN WE HAD A TREASURE HUNT AND THEY HAD TO FIND AND EXPLAIN WHAT EACH PEICE OF THE TREASURE PEICE THEY FOUND WHICH INCLUDED A NAIL, A CROSS, A PEICE OF LINEN, A SPONGE, AND A STONE. THEY EVEN GOT TO TOUCH A CROWN OF THORNS, I DONT KNOW IF JULIE AND I OR THE KIDS HAD MORE FUN. AT THE END THEY ALL GOT TO INDULGE IN TREATS. THEY ARE AN AMAZING GROUP OF KIDS.
I HAD A VERY SPECIAL DAY ALSO, I GOT TO SPEND MY DAY WITH MY FAMILY AND TIME ALSO WITH ONE OF MY FAVORITE BROTHERS WHICH WAS MUCH NEEDED FOR MYSELF. IT WAS JUST SO NICE TO BE ABLE TO SIT AND TALK WITH HIM ABOUT MY DAD WHO IS PASSED ON. WE WERE ABLE TO LAUGH WITH AND AT EACHOTHER IT WAS GREAT. SO HERE IT IS LORD ! I APPRECIATED THE DAY YOU GAVE ME YESTERDAY , IT WAS LIKE MY OWN SPECIAL GIFT FROM YOU.........AND I THANK YOU FOR IT. SJ

MICHELLE BOUGHT JAMES SOME NEW BOWLING SHOES, THEY HAVE YELLOW FLAMES ON THEM, IF YOU THINK MICHELLE'S WERE CUTE, WAIT UNTIL YOU ALL CAN CHECK OUT THESE FLAMERS, THEY DIDNT BRING HIM MUCH LUCK TONIGHT, BUT THEY WILL SURE SHINE BRIGHT DURING COSMIC BOWLING, HE WONT GET LOST IN THE CROWD THATS FOR SURE.(LOL)WILL POST A PICTURE SOON......
